New Name - "READING CHECKLIST"

Reading Checklist is a reading incentive program sponsored here at Park Glen. The PTA has changed the format this year. Instead of being a computer-based program, we have a variety of book activities that students can complete to earn points. These points can then be spent at one of the four “RC Stores” that the PTA sponsors and runs.

*Note that this new program does not replace the Reading Olympics program. They are two separate programs. Students are encouraged to participate in both.

Suzanne Ross, the school librarian, or a library volunteer can help your child choose books that are included in the program.

Make sure you check with the library when finishing projects so that it can be recorded on the master record sheet and you will get credit for everything.
