November 11 is an important date!
All Students who turn in their money by Nov. 11 will be eligible for a drawing to win:
"Principal for the Day"- Take over for Mrs. Wicker White for one school day. They will greet students, make announcements, get the keys to the school, carry a walkie talkie, inspect classrooms, check desks and award certificates for organization, eat lunch and go to recess whenever they want, call their parents from the principal's office, send an email to the teachers, and much more.
"Kids Rule After School"- 10 Students get to stay after school 3:30-6:30 and have a scavenger hunt, talk on the walkie talkies, make announcements see what is behind locked doors, play hide and seek, run in the halls, eat in the teachers' lounge, play in the gym, have a silly string war on the playground,
Students who turn in the money amounts listed below by Nov. 11 are eligible to win:
$15 per lap- large pillow pet
$20 per lap-Razor scooter
$35 per lap-Digital Camera
Students who turn in the money by Nov.11 are eligible to win:
Grand Prizes
iPad -most money collected
Popcorn machine- 2nd most money collected
Cotton candy machine 3rd most money collected
Make sure to take a look at the rewards your child can earn by collecting pledges; these are noted on the back of the brochure. Pledges up to those for $15 per lap will be given out as the child turns in their pledge envelope each day. The prizes for $20 per lap or higher in pledges will not be given out until after the pledges have actually been collected

Help Make a Difference
We count on the success of the Cheetah Fun Run to fund more than 40 programs and events. Plus, Park Glen teachers benefit as we are able to fund supplies, tools and equipment the school district cannot provide. Here are just some of the ways all money raised will go towards: new science lab, music and sound equipment, PE equipment, Red Ribbon Week, field day, class parties, school improvements, Reading Olympic medals, Cheetah Math trophies, student appreciation free book program, choir shirts, yearbook, PAWS publishing, DADs Club, 4th grade playday shirts, environmental programs, 1st grade gardening project, arts in education programs, walk to school program, and much more.
We are looking forward to a successful Fun Run this year and with your help this will be possible! Thank you for your support and help of our school and your children!
The CHEETAH FUN RUN will be our primary fundraiser for 2011-2012.
