Why join the Dad's Club?
Not only is it FREE, but joining provides a rewarding experience and most importantly you are involved in your child's school. Your child loves to see you up at the school or involved in school activities. The club is a volunteer, as available group with no minimum commitment required.
What does the Dad's Club do?
Dads may sign up to volunteer for one day or half a day at school. During your scheduled day, you will go to the school front office, check in for a brief orientation and grab a "DAD Club Vest." As soon as the day starts, we'll introduce you to everyone during morning announcements. Activities throughout your day may include opening car doors in the morning during arrival time, assisting at lunch or in classes, playing or refereeing during gym or recess time, monitoring the hallway, and eating lunch with your student. We'll work with you on which activities you'd like to do. All volunteers at the school must have a background check on file. We will send you a form in an orientation packet, when you sign up. Please allow up to 2 weeks to process.
Special recognition: All Dads who volunteer will have their photo placed on the D.A.D. WALL OF FAME in our front hallway and receive a special photo with their students to commemorate the day.
How to get involved: Fill out the form below and include up to 3 dates that you would be available to participate. If you have questions, please contact us at dads@parkglenpta.org
