Welcome to the Park Glen Elementary PTA website

Dear Parents and Teachers of Park Glen Elementary,

It is great to be part of this awesome PTA!  I am honored to be able to work with parents, teachers, and staff members that care for and provide an environment in which our children can grow and succeed. You only have to look at the smiles and excitement coming from the children to realize the impact of what goes on within these walls.

The Parent/Teacher Association was formed in 1897 in Washington D.C. by Alice McLellan Birney and Phoebe Apperson Hearst. It was created to meet a profound challenge: to better the lives of children. At Park Glen, we sponsor many programs and events throughout the school year.  The success of these programs is a direct result of the time, energy, and dedication of the teachers and the overwhelming number of volunteers.

Any contribution made, whether big or small, makes Park Glen Elementary a better place for our children. These are very formative years for our children, and I can’t think of a better place for children to grow and learn.
